We grow five varieties of avocados and an assortment of healthy, succulent produce. Our unique location between the damp coastal fog and the searing inland heat graces us with one of the longest growing seasons in North America. Charan Springs Farm was founded by Michael Limacher in July 1976. Nestled in the craggy hills five miles from the Pacific Ocean in Cambria, California, the future farm was an abandoned, industrial site virtually devoid of vegetation. For the next 20 years, Michael allowed most of the terrain to return to its natural state, especially around the creeks. He has been able to construct buildings and roads, and the rich organic soil has yielded bountiful crops. The result? -- a vibrant, thriving organic farm! |

FARMSTAY CABINS AVAILABLE The rolling hills of Cambria, California, offer one of the finest Mediterranean climates in North America. Though we are situated north of the 32nd parallel, in this diverse agricultural community we are able to produce avocados, grapes and a variety of fruits and vegetables. During the winter, we offer crops of peas, squash, and avocados that are shipped worldwide. |
